Finding Gem Diamonds 

Diamonds are formed billions of years ago under extreme heat and pressure conditions, deep within the Earth's mantle at a depth of between 100 -200 km below the surface of the Earth. They are brought to the surface of the Earth by kimberlite explosions.

What Next: Cutting and Polishing 

Gem Diamonds selects a limited number of its high end diamonds for cutting and polishing for its own account and outsources the computer analysis and manufacturing of these to some of Antwerp's top diamond manufacturing service providers. Gem Diamonds also partners with certain high end diamond manufacturers to manufacture some of Letšeng's select diamond production, to take a position higher up the value chain, closer to the end consumer, in order to gain a greater share of the total value yield.
