Lesotho

The Letšeng Diamond Mine, located in the Maluti Mountains, is the highest diamond mine in the world at an altitude of 3 250m above sea level and is one of the coldest places in Africa.

 

Botswana

Gope mine lies 30km within the eastern border of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, because of this mine development will conform to the highest environmental standards.

 

Angola

Chiri is a known diamondiferous kimberlite located in the Lunda Sul province of Angola approximately 12km from Catoca, one of the world's largest diamond mines.

 

CAR

Gem Diamonds Centrafrique holds exclusive exploration and mining rights to the 800km² Mambéré Concession.

 

Australia

Ellendale is renowned for its remarkable production of fancy and vivid yellow diamonds which are greatly sought after for their rarity. On average, Ellendale’s diamonds have sold for US$220 per carat in 2008.

 

Indonesia

Cempaka produces high-quality white diamonds as well as an array of coloured diamonds. On average, Cempaka’s diamonds have sold for US$305 per carat in 2008.

 

Dubai
