Gem Diamonds is at the forefront of one of the most enduring and robust industries in the world. Though impacted by global economic trends, the diamond market has repeatedly shown itself self to be as resilient as its product.
In an effort to maintain its position as one of the world’s leading diamond companies, Gem Diamonds will persistently strive to add value to the diamond market through the production of high-quality, top end diamonds. Demand for these remarkable stones has increased consistently over the last 100 years and to date real diamond prices have never experienced a real sustained decline.

The Lesotho Promise ranked as the worlds 15th largest rough diamond and the largest diamond to emerge from the Leteng mine to date. It is the 10th largest rough white diamond ever to be recovered. The Lesotho Promise was sold for US$12.4 million to SAFDICO, the manufacturing arm of Graff Jewellers, at an auction in Antwerp in October 2006.
